Lots of news these days! But the biggest is this: The Smash Up was The New York Times “Group Text” selection for the month. Group Text is a monthly column about the books that make readers want to talk, ask questions, and dwell on the material for just a little bit longer. It came with a review that used words like “exhilarating,” “mesmerizing,” “a modern and energetic story about a marriage on the skids.” The Times even published an excerpt. I’m delighted.
